RENTAL PERIOD:
The minimum rental
period is seven days. Each overnight period counts as one day. Pick-up is at
2:00 PM and drop-off is at 10:00 AM SHARP! The renter will be charged $30
for every hour the vehicle is returned late and 1½ the daily rental rate
for each day the vehicle is late. REMEMBER - Other people may be waiting
for the vehicle. Please contact our office if you are going to be
delayed.. |

DOWN
PAYMENT: $250
required on all rentals. The down payment is not refundable if order
is cancelled by the renter within four weeks of departure. The $250 will be applied
towards other fees due. |

SECURITY
DEPOSIT: $750
or amount of
estimated extra mileage (whichever is greater) is
required at least two weeks prior to departure. Refundable within 10 business
days of return providing the vehicle is clean (inside and outside), holding
tanks are empty, gas and propane are full and the vehicle is not damaged or
abused. If there are any extra fees (e.g. extra miles, generator use, etc…),
they will be deducted from the security deposit. |

FUEL: Gasoline
and propane tanks are released full and must be returned full. If not, the
renter will be charged $30 plus the cost of gasoline and/or propane. |
| 5. |
CLEANING: If the
motorhome is not returned clean inside and out, $30 an hour will be
charged to clean it. This charge will be deducted from the
security deposit. If the cleaning package has been chosen, the $80 fee
is for normal cleaning only.
If the vehicle is
abnormally dirty, an additional fee of $20 an hour will be charged for
each hour beyond the normal cleaning time and will be deducted from the
security deposit. |

HOLDING
TANKS: A dumping fee
of $30 will be charged if all holding tanks are not completely empty upon
return. It is not necessary to return the vehicle with a full fresh
water tank. |
| 7. |
PETS:
Pets are not allowed
in vehicle. A sanitation fee of $50 will be charged if there are any signs of
pets and any damage due to pets will be charged to the renter. REMEMBER - some
people are allergic to pets. |

SMOKING:
Smoking is strictly
forbidden in all vehicles. |
| 9. |
ROOF ACCESS: Roof access
is strictly forbidden. The roofing material resists rain, sun and snow
very efficiently but it is fragile to people walking on it. |
| 10. |
FEES:
All fees are payable
by CASH, PERSONAL
CHECK, CERTIFIED BANK CHECK, OR TRAVELER'S CHECK
to Central Coast RV.
A $20 fee will be charged
for any returned checks.
Full payment is due at least 2 weeks prior to
departure e.g. balance of rental fee, security deposit, rental fees for
accessories, etc.… |

CANCELLATION
POLICY: If the
reservation must be
cancelled, please let us know as much in advance as possible.
All
fees are forfeited if the cancellation is
within 1 week (7 days) of departure. If the cancellation is between 1 and 4 weeks prior to departure, all fees will be fully refunded except the
down payment. If the cancellation is more than 4 weeks prior to
departure, all fees will be refunded. |

BREAKDOWN: If
breakdown occurs and repairs are needed, any repair under $100 may be done at
renter's discretion. Any repair over $100 must have prior authorization from
dealer. Please save and submit all receipts for repairs. REFUNDS WILL NOT BE
MADE WITHOUT A RECEIPT. |

ACCIDENT: If
involved in an accident, renter must notify dealer within 24 hours. A full
written police accident report must be submitted to Central Coast RV upon your
return. Failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your security
deposit. |
| 14. |
IDENTIFICATION:
Proper identification, employment, credit references, and a valid
driver’s license must be presented when reserving a vehicle.
ALL INFORMATION
WILL BE VERIFIED. |
| 15. |
ALL DRIVERS MUST
BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE. |
| 16. |
INSURANCE:
All drivers must be fully insured. You may either obtain a binder from your
automobile insurance company or purchase coverage for a reasonable rate from MBA
Insurance (www.MBAchoice.com).
Insurance only covers road
accidents. You are responsible for any damage caused to the motorhome that is
not covered by the automobile insurance. |

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS: Complete operating instructions will be given at the time of
departure. It will take approximately 1- 2 hours. |
| 18. |
RESTRICTED AREAS: Vehicles are restricted from operation in
Death Valley and other desert
areas during hot periods. During certain periods, these areas are not habitable
and could pose a danger to the renter, passengers, and vehicle. Customer will
also be held liable for all damages to vehicle, tires, towing charges, and all
other related expenses as a result of a breakdown associated with operating in
these areas. Vehicles are restricted to highways. If the renter takes the
vehicle "off highway" and there is a breakdown of any kind, the renter is responsible for
the extra “off highway” towing or other fees. Do not take the vehicle to
Mexico.
The vehicle is not insured for travel in
Mexico
and travelers assistance is not available there. |
| 19. |
TOWING: The
weight of the item being towed must be within the legal limits of the
motorhome. Renter agrees to pay and be responsible for any and all
damage due to the use of the trailer hitch. |
| 20. |
REPLACEMENT
VEHICLE:
Central Coast RV reserves the right to replace the vehicle with another vehicle
of a similar size or bigger if the rented vehicle is not available. If
no other vehicle is available, all fees will be refunded. Central
Coast RV cannot be held liable for any other costs. |
| 21. |
PARKING:
Central Coast RV cannot be held responsible in any way for vehicles
parked on or near our premises. This includes but is not limited to
parking fines, towing fees, theft, vandalism, or any other damage. |
| 22. |
TERMS AND RATES SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE:
Any additional terms will be
disclosed when the rental agreement is signed. We reserve the right to refuse
any applicant. |
