| What do I do if
I get a flat tire? |
All of our motorhomes are relatively
new so you shouldn't have any technical problems but should something
happen, you are covered by Coach-Net®.
Coach-Net® is a premium roadside
assistance company. Just call their toll free number and they will
solve your problem. |
| Do
I need a special driver's license to drive a motorhome? |
No, a standard driver's license is sufficient.
All drivers must be at least 25 year of age. |
| Is
it hard to drive a motorhome? |
Our class C motorhomes are the easiest kind
to drive. It is like driving a big van. Just give yourself
plenty of room when making a turn. |
| What type of insurance do
I need? |
Most insurance companies will allow you to
transfer your automobile insurance to the motorhome during the rental
period in the form of a binder. Call your agent to find out.
Otherwise, comprehensive coverage may be purchased through MBA Insurance
(www.MBAchoice.com) for a
nominal daily rate. |
| What size motorhome
should I choose? |
It depends on the number of people you will be
traveling with and their ages. There should never be more people
than the number of seatbelts. The queen
size beds easily sleep two adults but the convertible dinette and sofa
are a tighter squeeze. |
| Where can I go with a
motorhome? |
That is the beauty of a motorhome; you can go
wherever you want. Having said that, camping in California is
usually restricted to campgrounds. Some campgrounds limit the size
of motorhomes that can enter them. Also, some campgrounds have
full hookups (water, electricity, and sewage) while others are for "dry"
camping only. Our motorhomes are completely self contained and are
equipped with a generator but remember, the reservoir capacities are
limited so be conservative with water and electricity use. |
| Can I go "off highway" with
a motorhome? |
Motorhomes are not 4x4 vehicles and they are
tall and wide. It is advised to stay on the road and avoid low
hanging branches. Use your good judgment to decide if you can get
down a back country road but remember, you are responsible for any
damage or extra costs related to "off highway" breakdowns. |
| What is in the motorhome
and what do I need to bring? |
All of our motorhomes are equipped with basic
cooking and cleaning supplies which includes pot, pans, cooking
utensils, toaster, coffee maker, broom, mop, etc.... See the
"Accessories" page for details. We recommend you bring disposable
plates, plastic eating utensils, plastic cups so can can just throw them
away after meals instead of having to wash them. |
| Does the motorhome have a
TV, VCR, DVD, or CD player? |
Our Minnie 24' has a TV, VCR, CD, and radio.
Our Yellowstone 31' has a TV, VCR, DVD, CD, audio cassette, and radio.
The generator must be running or you need to be hooked up to an
electricity supply in order for the TV, VCR, and DVD to work.
However, the stereo system works from the battery. |
| Are slide-outs important? |
A slide-out makes a huge difference! The
slide-out adds a tremendous amount of living space.
Remember to retract the slide-out when driving though. |
| When should I reserve my
motorhome? |
As soon as possible! Our well appointed and
competitively priced motorhomes are in high demand especially during
holiday periods. Make sure the motorhome you want is available for
you when you want it by reserving it early. |
| Is the reservation deposit
applied to other fees? |
Yes. The reservation deposit will be
applied to the security deposit which is refunded when the motorhome is
returned in good condition. Or, if you prefer, it can be applied
to the rental fees. |
| Is the security deposit
refunded? |
Yes. The security deposit is refunded
within 10 business days of the return of the motorhome. Any
additional fees such as extra mileage or damages will be deducted from
the security deposit. |
